The most accurate digital copies of the original material

Using various scanning techniques we are able to create accurate copies of the original material. We utilize state-of-the-art scanning systems to provide exceptional scans of your items. For us, the size, weight or material type is not a limitation.

We can scan any surface you can imagine

What type of surface can we digitize? Almost every material you can imagine. Do you have a special one? We are looking forward to seeing it and scanning it! The common materials are:

  • Wood, fabrics, stone

  • Tiles, bricks, metals

  • Plasters, concrete, facade systems

  • And many others

The materials are prepared in PBR format, which is an industry standard

This is a game-changer because you can use the same format to describe your material in all 3D applications.

PBR = Physically-Based Rendering

PBR is a cutting-edge standard that accurately simulates the physical properties of materials, such as their reflectivity, roughness, and texture in any lighting conditions.

Everybody needs PBR

By providing architects and designers with digital copies of your products in the PBR standard, you'll be giving them the most realistic and accurate representation of your products possible. And, of course, you can also use it for your marketing.

Unleash impeccable detail

We always strive to deliver the best results and stay on the cutting edge of possibility.

PBR textures in unparalleled high resolution (up to 16,000 px) for seamless and endless repetition

Our cutting-edge technology enables us to capture the finest details, ensuring exceptional quality in our PBR textures. With raw precision and the best scanning capabilities our high-resolution textures can be seamlessly repeated without any visible seams.

Unlock endless possibilities of scanned materials

Apart from testing and validation, scanned products also offer multiple marketing applications. They can be used to create stunning images, videos, and presentations to showcase the product's features and benefits.

Create beautiful images, videos, or experience the product in VR

Scanned materials unveil boundless marketing opportunities, enabling the creation of stunning images, videos, and VR experiences in diverse virtual landscapes. Say goodbye to costly photo shoots and welcome a world where imagination thrives, saving both time and money.

Testing in 3D as a necessary step

In conclusion, testing products in 3D has become a necessary step for manufacturers and as well as architects and designers. It offers a range of benefits, from accurate validation of product designs to multiple marketing applications. With our scanning output, you can test your design before it goes to production or provide architects and designers with high-end scanned materials that are ready to use in all 3D software, ensuring a seamless experience.

Why can we scan any material?

We possess cutting-edge scanning technology, but this is not the only thing you need to achieve exceptional and boundless results. We also have a highly trained team of 3D artists and scanner operators, efficient logistics that enable us to stock thousands of samples, and machinery that allows us to transport and scan any type of item, regardless of weight and size. As a result, we have no limitations when it comes to scanning, and we can digitize any type of material.

How material scanning works?

Sample evaluation

Send us information about the type and number of scanned materials. Please also attach quick photos of all scanned items if possible. Based on that, we will provide you with a non-binding offer and an approximate processing time.

Sample delivery or on-site scanning

We will inform you whether we will scan the materials in-house or on-site based on your materials. For in-house scanning, we will provide the address of our scanning department. For on-site scanning, please provide the address we should visit.

Scanning process

This part is up to us, but we always maintain communication with the customer in case we need additional information. We also share the data for a final check before deploying the final version.

Data delivery

We will share the link to our cloud where you can find and download all processed data.

FAQs

These are the most common questions we get from customers.

What is the maximum sample size for scanning?

The maximum scanning area for in-house scanning is 120 x 150 cm. For larger samples we can stitch together multiple scans. For on-site scanning and artificial reconstruction there is no size limit.

How long does it take to process a single PBR material?

For simple surfaces, it takes approximately 1.5 hours, while for more complicated ones, it can take up to 6 hours.

How much does it cost to process a single PBR material?

The price range depends on the material type and scanning method. We also offer the option to colorize samples with the same pattern but in different colors. A custom price offer will always be provided based on the material type and your specific requirements.

What is the data output format?

For each material, you will receive a folder containing PBR maps in resolutions of 4K, 8K, or 16K, and with either 8-bit or 16-bit depth, depending on the material type. Additionally, you will receive a folder with previews of the rendered material. If needed, we can also provide you with the texture size in centimeters.

Can I order custom previews of materials?

Yes, you can order a custom mockup. In such cases, we charge for scene setup and each custom render.
